it complains that my password doesn't have symbols, except it does; turns out the symbols got truncated off when i pasted in a freshly-generated password

so i generate a shorter password, and now it complains that it can't start with a symbol

so i re-roll a few times, and now it complains that it doesn't have the symbols that they want
