making an account on this website
it complains that my password doesn't have symbols, except it does; turns out the symbols got truncated off when i pasted in a freshly-generated password
so i generate a shorter password, and now it complains that it can't start with a symbol
so i re-roll a few times, and now it complains that it doesn't have the symbols that they want
computers were a mistake

@nyanotech the world held together by every dev asking a question in #regex and pasting the random answer into production code.
@discatte still mad about another website that, for whatever godforsaken reason, used a regex to check length, but the regex broke when your password had a % sign
@nyanotech need a password gen with "include escape sequences" option 😼
