finally started assembling this thing

a semi-populated logic board from a core64c kit; pin sockets and a pi pico sit next to it, waiting to be soldered

the core memory plane board from the kit, clamped in a stickvise. 8 rows of wire are strung up with their cores

holding the plane up to the light; now the columns are threaded, all that's left to do is the sense wire
