back to top@nyanotech apple invested a shitload of money into making iPhone screens out of sapphire and it never went further than the fancier watches :(
@cinebox i got curious after a different website offhandedly mentioned that some military helicopters have sapphire windows for bullet resistance
@nyanotech that doesn’t sound right since I think it’s fairly brittle
