@nyanotech I’ve been pricing things for 1ku and it’s fun seeing everything get multiplied out. This component’s sum cost is 8 grand, and this other one is… $8

Multiplication is unkind.
But also, the funny part is like... kinda? Because also, sometimes the price goes from 0.15/pc at 50 pcs to 0.002/pc at 2000/pc
Sometimes it's literally cheaper to buy a reel than a piece of cut tape. Like... total, not per unit. Digikey is actually surprisingly good about warning you when you check out if you're overpaying.
@North it'd be funny if they decide to warn you or not based on their work queue length
