jump to repliesi hate how, now that it's expected that everyone uses LED bulbs, all the fixtures are rated for like, 10W max, which is fine until i want to put in a led bulb that uses [checks box] 33W

back to top@nyanotech I honestly didn't notice that that had shifted. Honestly, 60W wiring isn't really that much. That's only 0.5A at 120v. I've gotta wonder what they're cheaping out on to make them only rated for 0.08A.
Like even early USB cables can handle 0.5A of current.
I liked that with LED bulbs I could WAY increase the brightness of the bulbs I put in, replacing 60W bulbs with 100W equivalents. Guess I gotta keep these old lamps around, if only for the parts.
