oh yeah, one of my coworkers defaults to talking with me in chinese now i think; had a conversation with them about dotfile management the other day

(i'd said something in chinese during lunch a while ago, but i think they all assumed my chinese-speaking was worse than it actually is)

@nyanotech I've had managers annoyed when people have work conversations in other languages, never really bothered me, enough jargan doesn't translate that normally if it's something I'm likely to care about it's obvious. I even once interrupted two Chinese coworkers having a chat to say "you're talking about X right? You know Y & Z?" and sure enough I'd still heard enough to have a useful interjection
